We want each order to reach you as quickly as possible. So that you know what to expect, we provide some general guidelines here, though the timing of delivery of your order may be slightly different to that outlined below.
Delivery methods
We currently use two transport partners - either Australia Post or E-go.com.au, as they can deliver your parcel safely and quickly, at the lowest possible price.
For STANDARD deliveries, we use either Australia Post or E-go.com.au. For small parcels under 250gms, and addresses outside the standard metro city areas, we usually use Australia Post. We prefer to use E-go.com.au for metro deliveries as E-go is often faster than Australia Post, and it has a tracking service and limited insurance.
For EXPRESS deliveries, we usually use Australia Post Express Post so your parcel should arrive overnight if you are in the Express Post delivery network, or as quickly as possible if you are outside the network.
If no one is home at the time, usually the driver will leave the goods in a safe place (eg out of sight from the road) unless it needs a signature. Please see the

Delivery charges
Delivery charges vary according to the destination postcode and the size and weight of the final parcel. You can get an estimate of the usual delivery time to your postcode by using the shipping calculator on the product page. In some cases where the item is particularly large and the shipping address is in a remote area, the postal calculator may under-estimate the amount of shipping. In these cases we will contact you with alternative shipping options before dispatching your order.
Total delivery time
The total delivery time is the number of days between when you place your order and when you receive it.
Pre-ship processing time + delivery time = Total delivery time
Pre-ship processing time
IN STOCK means that the product is in stock in our Melbourne warehouse and ready to be shipped out within 24 hrs (the next day).
AVAILABLE means that the product is not stocked in our Melbourne warehouse, but is available from our suppliers. For these items there is a short lead-time before it gets sent out to you.
ON BACKORDER means that the product is temporarily out of stock and we have more on the way, so you can pre-order and we’ll ship it when it arrives. Or if you would like a courtesy email when it arrives back in stock, use the ‘Notify Me’ feature to receive a complimentary email when the item comes back in stock.
If a product is permanently out of stock we will remove it from the website.
Delivery time
Delivery times usually take between 1 to 6 working days for Australian deliveries, (sometimes longer for remote areas) and between 5 to 10 days for overseas deliveries. These delivery times relate only to business days, Monday to Friday, and exclude weekends and Australian public holidays.
As a general rule, Melbourne metro deliveries are usually a 1 day (overnight) service, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide deliveries usually take 2 days, Brisbane around 3 days, Perth and Darwin around 4-5 days and rural deliveries around 6 days. The estimated delivery time for your order is provided during checkout.
Whilst we make every effort to deliver by the estimated timeframe, all dates specified are estimates only. We have aligned ourselves with transport partners who we believe will always do their best to deliver products by the estimated delivery date. We can’t be held liable for loss or damage resulting from late delivery but we will do our best to help you in these circumstances.
Delivery confirmation
We usually notify you of the status of your order within 24hrs (next business day), to let you know how your order is progressing, or when it has been shipped. In cases where we have run out of a particular item, we will contact you by email or phone as soon as possible to discuss your order if we cannot dispatch the item to you within 7 days.
If your order is sent by courier, E-go.com.au, they will email you the delivery details including an estimated delivery timeframe and consignment number, so you can track your delivery online. It will also include any delivery instructions you have provided, eg ‘Please leave parcel behind red pot on porch’.
If your order is sent by Australia Post, we’ll provide an estimated arrival date so you know approximately when to expect it.
There are rare occasions where external factors completely outside of the control of our delivery partners can delay a parcel, despite their best endeavours, so we do ask for your patience and cooperation in these circumstances.
International deliveries
Due to the increasing risk of internet fraud we no longer ship to overseas destinations, we apologise for the inconvenience.
Please always contact us if you want to check timing or costs for Australian deliveries - we're only too happy to help.
